Local Artist Vikki Reed

This week I would like to share pictures with you from our 7th Anniversary Celebration!  We had such a great time with everyone!  Part of what made this special was the theme of “loving and supporting local artists”.

Local Artists have been a part of our journey and our evolution since we first opened.  In fact a couple of the artists featured on this night (Vikki Reed and Paige Sullivan Ashmore) have been with us since our first year!  Two of the others (Ella Newkirk and Michelle Radomski) have been with us for over 5 years!  Then we had a couple of newbies (Sherri Rowland and Nancy Dorobiala) with us, who have been with us for about a year!  Each one part of our ever changing story.  Shaping us and helping us find our unique voice!

We continue to find our way to uniquely expressing who we are and what we offer.  But one thing is for sure; Supporting Local Artists is an important part of that expression!  So thank you to ALL of the artists who have contributed to and been apart of Storm Wisdom so far!  There are so many and will be many more to come! Just this week we started working with an amazing metal artist named Shana Bell… Wait till you see her work!  You’re gonna love it!

Jennifer from The Joy Bus

The other “Joy-filled” part of our weekend was raising money for “The Joy Bus” and the soon to open “The Joy Bus Diner”!  Everyone who walked through our doors over the weekend helped to make this a big success.  Between donating 10% of our proceeds for the weekend and a 50/50 raffle we held on their behalf, we were able to give them a check for $520!  Thank you to all who contributed!

And finally… We are kind of known for our great door-prizes and give-aways that happen over the course of the celebration!  There are actually a couple of names missing from this list, as they received their door-prize directly from the artists at the party on Saturday night.  But here is the rest of the list.  We want to thank EVERYONE who donated a gift for this drawing… and also congratulate all those who one!  Prizes should be picked up this week if you haven’t already done so…, otherwise they will be donated to a good cause!

Finally a big THANK YOU to all of YOU!  Whether you were able to join us during our celebration or not… We feel our connection to you!  Our community!  Nothing is more important that community, being uniquely you and knowing you belong!  Thank you for our first amazing 7 years!
