For a number of years now I have been saying that “what worked in the past, is no longer working”. Most of the time this was a reference to the distorted worlds of corporate greed, political shenanigans, religious dogma and predominantly male dominated institutions.
The way it seems to me, if we are to survive and thrive on the planet, we will need to bring balance and harmony to our co-existence with everything else on the planet; with each other; and All-That-Is. This means that the choices we made in the past, the tactics that we used, and the way we think about ourselves as stewards of the planet will need to shift. Dramatically.
We all know people who were successful by using fear, manipulation and deceit. It was all just part of the game. Dominate others, before you are dominated! Yet what we have been witnessing for awhile now is that this approach is no longer working. Since many who use it are not awake enough to use a different approach… They are simply attempting more of the same, with diminishing returns on the results.
That is still happening and will continue to happen. Accelerated even. But there is a new aspect that is emerging. Many of us are experiencing distortions in time. Mostly the feeling of time accelerating. Frequently at “warp speed”. What I have noticed recently is that with this feeling of rapid elapsing time, it is impossible to look to the past for answers or confirmation of the direction we are going towards.
Of course it was NEVER intended that we would use the past as a navigation tool. It has always been the backdrop of our lives. But with the intense distortion in the field – greed, fear, manipulation, violence and more; we began to look to the past to try and predict our exposure or weakness, an attempt to protect our true vulnerable nature. Using the past to navigate the future became common and seemed logical.
So the Universe, in its infinite wisdom has created a distorted sense of time. Many of us are experiencing life in new ways, simply because we do not have time to mine the past for old insights. We have to respond to the present.
Here is what I am experiencing right now. “Time is out of sequence” or me out of sequence with time. Energetically I am aware that my life has completely changed. I feel completely different than I did a short time ago. I KNOW I am different. Yet when I look at our 3-D, physical world… I can’t find the proof of it yet. Much of my life looks exactly the same.
BUT.., when I try to examine the past to see if I have encountered this sensation before; or if there is any pattern buried there that would help me understand what is going on; time accelerates and I am brought back to the present moment. With an overwhelming sense that I simply need to trust the truth of what I know. Even without proof.
Tell me what is going on for you! Are you feeling a shift in your relationship to the past? Are you looking for proof of what you already know is true? Is this throwing you off, getting you excited or ???
We are shifting and changing. We must. We are beings of consciousness whose greatest desire is to expand our awareness of ourselves, the world, the galaxy and All-That-Is. Right now, we can do a lot to help ourselves during this time of chaos and transformation with bringing our focus into and on the Present. Trust what you know, feel and sense!
With Light, Love, and Laughter

Charles,
As always your words of wisdom and insights touch my heart and bring me a sense of peace knowing I am not alone in this journey. I have often looked to the past (or prepared for the future) in the attempt to “control” so I could feel safe – my sensitivity and empathic nature lead me to feel the need to protect myself. Even though I began to realize that seeking safety was an illusion quit a while ago – the ingrained behaviors were often difficult to pinpoint or shift. Time has been accelerating for me also but lately my experience has been different. It is as if the past is very faint and doesn’t exist – it is just out of reach and really can’t be touched. Every once in a while, I find myself immersed in a past experience (deeply immersed) – wrapped in the emotions and drama of it but then I feel a sense of peace and understanding around it and the attachment to it slowly melts away. When I reach for the future (relying on my “knowing”) as I have in the past, again it is just out of reach and can’t be touched. At first, I was nervous wondering what happened to my intuition and then I began to realize that my true knowing was in the present. As I focused on presence, I just flow and find myself doing, being and speaking without thought. I am still embracing this newness even though I know it isn’t new – it is the true essence of who I am – but am still encouraging my human self to not be afraid and know that being vulnerable and present is the true path to unconditional love and the light that will shine through all the illusion of chaos
Hugs of gratitude
Teri
I love so much about what you have shared here Teri. One of them is how you brought in the future thinking as well. I will sit with that and think about if and how it has shifted for me. I would think it should already be apparent if I were paying attention because I feel like my thoughts are always in the future.
I also like that you chose the word “wrapped” in the thoughts of the past. I have shared with several people that most of my past feels like it is house in floating bubbles. They seem separate and autonomous from me. Almost as if they are someone else’s memories. But if I need to I can pull one of those bubbles closer and recall more and more details from that time in my life.
Thank you for sharing your insights and process… It means a lot!
When Charles says he knows his life has changed but he can’t see the evidence of it yet reminds me of the notion that “Before enlightenment, carrying water and chopping wood; after enlightenment, carrying water and chopping wood”.
Yes Dallas…. you are so right. Sometimes we forget the simplest things… the journey not the destination!
Yes, this resonates with me. Thank you for posting!
You’re welcome Lori!
Thanks for sharing, Charles and Teri.. Interesting subject. We know that our power exists only in the Present but I feel that some actions in my Past help me in the Present…only when I remember the positive emotion behind the action. ..One important event was when I shut off the fear of what I was about to do…depart all alone to live in Florence, Italy. My hearts desire was stronger. I learned from that and carried it forward. I believe those emotions stay with us….
Yes we know we are different but may not be seeing that proof in our current world. It is said that we are changing from a carbon-based to a crystalline body so that our light bodies are vibrating at a higher frequency. And it is said that time is actually collapsing….and we are feeling it at warp speed.
Is it any wonder that you chose your business to bring knowledge to others regarding the power of crystals? I’ve been on my journey for 45 years and never held an interest in crystals..but I do now and have brought them into my healing work. THANK YOU for these free classes..!!!
Powerful statement…Charles…
“We are shifting and changing. We must. We are beings of consciousness whose greatest desire is to expand our awareness of ourselves, the world, the galaxy and All-That-Is. Right now, we can do a lot to help ourselves during this time of chaos and transformation with bringing our focus into and on the Present. Trust what you know, feel and sense!”
TRUST THE JOURNEY!!!!
Food for thought Donna, food for thought! What you have shared makes me wonder if I am holding the past.., and how we rely on it, with a very dualistic view. That only the things that I think of as bad or wrong are being shifted and changed. You remind me that it has to be all of it… Not just the parts I judge.
This is why these exchanges mean so much to me… They help me to see and expand perspectives that perhaps I have missed!
Thank you for all your kind words of acknowledgement! And thanks for being part of the Storm Wisdom Family and Community!
