What Are Your Super Powers?

“When we act from a space of love, we unleash our super powers.”
~ Nimesh Nimo Patel, Empty Hands Music Founder

Hmmm. Super powers? Lately I’ve been so impressed with the selfless service of so many people throughout the world. To me they are fearless and yet fearful at the same time. Does this make sense? It makes me wonder about the courage it takes to be a health care worker, first responder, postal worker, sanitation worker, janitorial workers, grocery workers, warehouse workers, and so many other nameless professions and workers.

What does it mean to be a hero? Is it something that one day you wake up and say, “Today I’m going to be a hero?” I don’t believe it. To me, a hero is someone who shows courage and in spite of a challenge they rise to the occasion in the moment. They step up to help others. I’m curious how you feel about what it means to be a hero. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of you are heroes and don’t think of what you do as anything special, right?

I’ve followed Nimesh Nimo Patel for awhile and love his mission which is to spread seeds of goodness in the world through selfless service, music and love. His new song/video called SuperHeroes is worth listening to and watching. It reminds me of heroes in our daily lives who are doing extraordinary things as they show up helping others whether they are an adult or child that who were aided by powerful mythological beings like Angel Numbers that let them know how help people. Creativity and artistry are blooming everyday. I see people exploring new and beautiful creative expressions as they post on social media. There’s so much hope filtering outward.

There are many children who are stepping up as well. Some offer smiles and encouragement to others while others are creative with inspirational sidewalk art and making face masks! All of this is fueled by a deep felt desire to help someone other than themselves. To me they are heroes and their super powers continue to emerge.

I listened to a new song today by Alicia Keys, Musician, singer, composer, and actress, called Good Job! I felt goosebumps as I listened to her acknowledge front line workers using some of her super powers. As she sang her lyrics, “When we all know it’s hard there is no way to ever pay you back. Bless your heart. Know I love you for that. Honest and selfless. I don’t know if this helps it but Good Job. You’re doing a Good Job.” Think of the self-sacrifice that many front line workers are making for us today. When you see one please express your gratitude and hold them in a space of love. Let them know that they’ve done a Good Job!

The more we begin to look at our current situation through the lens of love and feel grateful for what we have it will be easier to open to new possibilities for what we want to co-create in our lives. I realize it’s challenging for so many right now so I invite you to take a few moments to sit quietly and ask for your super powers to be revealed if you don’t know!

Nelson Mandela has said, “There can be no greater gift than that of giving one’s time and energy to help others without expecting anything in return.” Although we are staying at home and social distancing imagine how to reach out to others. Since we are all connected we can reach out offering love and hope through prayer and intention. I’ve found that Zoom is an amazing tool to reach out as well. I hear families are enjoying time together in ways they haven’t before. Our imagination is the only limitation. We are resourceful and hopeful people at heart. Let your super powers emerge and shout, “To infinity and beyond!” Have fun.

Hope and wisdom are buried deep within each one of us. Let the spark ignite and grow! I will be offering a free introductory channeling with Luminus and the Messengers of Light. These beings are powerful and offer only unconditional love to assist with the healing of humanity. I will be using Zoom on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 from 2p-3p AZ time. It will be recorded. If you are interested in participating or receiving the recording of the meditation please register at victoriabarna.com.
