The creative process is in full swing, and there’s a palpable energy in the air. Crafting the layout of our new store, envisioning how each space will flow, and making it all come together—this is where I thrive. Right now, everything feels easier, lighter, and more manageable than I ever imagined.

Well, except for one small detail: in just a week, on Tuesday, September 3rd, we’ll be opening the doors to our new space, and there’s still a mountain of things to move! But… we’re determined, and we’ll get there.

When I first imagined this transition, I pictured the construction taking about three weeks, leaving us with a luxurious five weeks to move and hold a big sale for items we wouldn’t be taking with us. In reality… we’ve got two weeks, and our plates are overflowing. Best laid plans, right?

Yet, amid all the chaos, the excitement and anticipation are undeniable. Every person who stops by the store and learns we’re moving shares in our enthusiasm. It’s as if they’re just as excited as we are—and that energy is contagious!

Adding to the whirlwind, Gisela (and Stacy) are set up as vendors at the Helping Parents Heal event, a cherished gathering that happens every two years here in the Valley. This year’s event is sold out, with nearly 1,100 people attending.

It’s a lot of work, but it’s also exhilarating. Gisela is truly in her element, flexing her creative muscles and making connections.

All of this is to say—it’s crazy busy. But energetically, everything is moving forward with unstoppable momentum. I can feel that in about two weeks, I’ll be able to catch up on everything I’ve missed or pick up the pieces I’ve dropped. Life will begin to settle into a new normal.

Well, as normal as life in a Crystal Shop can be!
