I’m excited to announce that my newest book, Self-Awareness in a New Age—Evolving Beyond Old Patterns, is now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle formats!
The Journey to Writing This Book
I first knew I wanted to write this book during the pandemic. Like many of us, I had extra time on my hands—time when I couldn’t do things as I normally would or had to find new, creative ways to approach life. During that period, I experienced profound shifts in perspective and gained new insights. I felt compelled to capture them, but I also knew I needed to let them marinate first.
Many of these realizations were deeply personal, yet they felt universally relevant—especially to those searching internally for answers, strength, or direction. I had this burning urge to understand what it all meant, but I wasn’t quite ready to put it into words.
I knew I had something to say, even if I wasn’t sure what it was yet. But I also trusted that once I sat down to write, the clarity would come. Writing has always been a cathartic process for me—sometimes, it even feels like my own form of therapy.
An Evolution in Awareness
Over the past five years, I’ve recognized just how much I’ve changed. But unlike in the past, where transformation felt like something I had to pursue, I now embody it. When I become aware of something new, I don’t have to work through it, struggle with it, or process it—it simply integrates if it resonates. It becomes part of me.
That’s a big shift for someone who spent years mining for personal truth and authenticity. Before, every new awareness felt like an invitation to take a detour into the past—retrieving relevant lessons or ensuring there was nothing unresolved that might hold me back.
But now, I no longer feel the need to take those side trips. I don’t have to dissect the path that led me to an insight. I can simply choose whether to incorporate it into my life or not.
That’s not to say there’s no struggle or challenge in this new way of experiencing life. I still encounter layers of the same onion. I still get stuck occasionally. But I trust that it’s all part of the journey. Personal growth, increased awareness, and living with intention remain my priorities—they’ve just evolved, and I experience them differently now.
