“Whether you color the world or light it up blue, you are making a difference. So keep being you.” Dr. Seuss, American children’s author, illustrator, poet, and filmmaker

How do you think of yourself? Do you know in the very core of your being or does it take someone else to remind you? Maybe it’s both. In my quiet moments I reflect on what it means to be both human and divine. Sometimes it’s hard to wrap my brain around it and then I hear, “Trust and have faith. You chose to be here to help others remember.” Being me is different than being you but we have some things in common. For example, courage, a desire to help others, experience emotions, make conscious choices, co-create new realities, and so much more. For me, these awarenesses happened later in life and for some others they happen earlier. Each one of us is individual and unique; however, we come from the same Source and are all connected.

Until I believed in myself enough and let go of wanting to please everyone I couldn’t fully embrace, accept, and value me! How about you? E.E. Cummings, American poet, painter, author, and playwright has said that, “We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” Until I released the fear that my family would divorce me if I changed my beliefs and practices I couldn’t claim me, my truest self! Once I did, my journey of re-discovery began. Sometimes it’s seemed slow (that’s my impatience and need to control) and other times it’s seemed like warp speed. Can you relate?

I realize that with busy daily lives it may seem unreal to think of yourself as amazing unless you have a lot of support. I did. My husband, sons, and good friends have been there for me along the way and they’ve been my greatest cheerleaders! I hope that you have people who are there when you feel down and overwhelmed – people who lift you up! I hope you embrace how beautiful and courageous you are and know how much you are loved. I agree with Misty Copeland, American ballet dancer, author and speaker when she said, “ Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.” Remember, that you also have limitless support in the unseen realms as well! You are not alone!

If you are interested in more personal support, together, we can explore releasing resistance to being the best you can be which includes: old habits, behaviors, past life influences, emotions, and the illusion of what you are not.
