Ella Newkirk – Listening Stones

Ella Newkirk – Listening Stones

Listening Stones Ella was born in Washington, DC and grew up in Northern Virginia.  She was in advanced art classes through high school, receiving a National Scholastic Art Award.  She has done work for national as well as local publications and has shown her work, as a featured artist, in several galleries throughout the east and southwest. On April 4, 2000, Ella fell from a ladder and broke her back.  At that time was a member of a metaphysical group that met monthly to pray for individuals and nations that were in need.  We were invited to hear Sara O’mara speak about how she became a faith healer.  It was during this meeting that she was spontaneously healed of her broken back, in order to do what she does now. These stones have been used as focus stones at  hospice, birthing centers and sent all over the world to assist in healing, and to bring comfort to those in need of a place to unburden themselves.. Each stone is lovingly done by hand and there are no two alike. These small stones may help us to remember our connection to Source and loved ones are never more than a thought away....
Ali Farrell of Mid•space

Ali Farrell of Mid•space

Get Centered | Healthy Minds & Pretty Finds Ali Farrell is the woman behind Mid•space. She’s a desert dweller, a graphic designer and artisan, a mental health advocate and a mom. She was inspired to start Mid•space out of a rough patch she went through as a full-time working mom. She was overwhelmed, spread too thin and not properly devoting enough time to meeting her own needs. After re-centering and energizing with daily self care and mindfulness practices, she was inspired cultivate a new path for herself and share what she had learned with others who might find themselves in similar circumstances. So at the end of 2022, she designed and created her first product, Morning Mantras affirmation cards, with the goal to continue to roll out additional tools for healthy mindsets. Coming into the new year, Ali’s vision for Mid•space has evolved. It initially started as a venture specifically focused on providing tools for self care and healthy mindsets. But, Ali found herself also wanting to incorporate her love for design, decor and crafting with her hands. After all, curating soothing spaces with beautiful objects plays a contributing role in remaining centered in one’s life. In 2023, Mid•space will begin to offer some new handcrafted goods as well as additional tools for implementing self care. Future products will include small home decor items such as candles, incense burners and terrazzo vessels, and items for healthy mindsets such as self care trackers, journals and gratitude cards. ...

Anita Farrah

Anita Farrah

Combining decades of torch worked glass making, metal smithing and yoga practice has resulted in jewelry pieces that are infused with artistic skill and the creative flow of energy. The creativity begins with a specific design and as the glass flows or the metal moves I allow it to guide me; it’s a moving meditation practice that fills me with joy. Though you may be drawn to my work for its beauty, I am told there is an unmistakable energy to each piece. In 2002 friends asked if I’d like to take a lamp work glass making class with them at the Mesa Arts Center. Hooked after the first class, I loved the way the glass moved and the alchemy of mixing colors. Within a year I quit my management job, became a certified yoga teacher and a full time glass and jewelry artist....

Pamela Becker

Pamela Becker

Pamela Becker’s art depicts timeless moments of practical contact with one’s own true nature, while encouraging an encompassing perspective of humanity as one shared environment. It symbolizes how our dream-world reflects back to us information worth paying attention to. Information that has the potential to seed a new vision for a positive future. The process and symbolism of Pamela’s paintings has more than once produced precognitive understanding that has proven insightful. “Painting becomes a meditation, a conversation with the unknown, and I have learned to trust it,” the artist confirms. “An often explored subject, ‘the myth of distance’ illustrates inter-connectedness that implies space is a myth. Color and light make me so excited I have to put paint down to reflect their beauty. Often my paintings begin with wooden boards covered with copper, patinas and other metallic pigments which add depth and begin a story, as I dive into unexpected patterns forming in the patina implying a direction,” Becker shares. Imagery emerges from the patina suggesting faces, objects, feelings or story. The artist enters into a conversation with the piece that may take days or years to complete. “I have travelled to many parts of this amazing planet and have immersed myself in cultures I never knew existed. I am not gifted with learning spoken languages, but have found that by sketching people in my travels, I make connections with them. I strive to remind us of our best: essential beauty and wholeness. I believe its embodiment raises the level of thought and health while igniting the heart- thus making a positive difference in the “bigger vision”. www.BigVisionArts.com https://www.facebook.com/BigVisionArts...
Calling All Angels – Katherina and Tracy

Calling All Angels – Katherina and Tracy

An Angel’s Kiss  Angels come to us in our deepest despair and our heaviest anguish. Calling All Angels was born after one of our owners had such an angelic visit. “After falling in a restless sleep sometime during a night when life’s hurdles felt too much to bear, I had a visitor. There seemed to be something familiar about this entity, something soothing and comforting. Its warm embrace and calming light spoke to me, reassuring me, ‘Everything will be okay.’ It was then that I was kissed on my forehead and I could feel light spreading through my body. A wonderful wave of warmth left me with a feeling of strength and peace. After waking up I knew I had been visited and kissed by an angel. I could still feel the spot where I was kissed, a reminder of a wonderful, life changing, and empowering experience meant to help in difficult times.”  The artists at Calling All Angels create one of a kind angel sculptures. Each angel is hand crafted. No two angels are alike. Each angel is symbolic of an “Angel’s Kiss” because we all need a warm embrace and the comfort of hope in difficult times. Perhaps we just need a guardian angel to watch over us for all the challenges yet to come. Your angel will pick you. Just browse around…. we guarantee, you will know which angel belongs to you; which angel will be your “Kiss“, or the “Kiss” to give.  Calling All Angels by Katherina Lipscomb & Tracy Crocker My...
Thistle River – Stephanie Myer

Thistle River – Stephanie Myer

Stephanie was born and raised in the valley and graduated from ASU with degrees in Kinesiology and History- Medieval. Over the years Stephanie focused on building a client base for her health business but always maintained a side gig in crafts. She found a love for Sacred Geometry many years ago and then once she got her laser machine, she started creating one of a kind crystal grids for those in the community. It wasn’t until after she started making the grids that she branched out into collecting crystals and researching them. She particularly likes crystals that have a special place in history or ancient times, such as Turquoise, Goldstone, and Lapis Lazuli.  When creating the crystal grids, Stephanie wanted to make something unique and individualistic for each person that would represent them through either the color, design, or overall look. Everyone has a different perspective and is drawn to different colors and/or shapes, so she wanted to give people as many options as possible. She also engraves Sacred Geometry on wood pieces for those that want a more natural look.  The Flower of Life engraved on any greenish color pattern is her personal favorite. My...

Stephanie Phelps

Nature has always inspired me to create. The beauty, power, colors, and living energy that run through all things on our amazing planet have always been my source of inspiration. I connect with natural elements, find the treasures placed upon my path, and allow the organic flow of my imagination to infuse my creations. Birds, or what I lovingly call the Winged Ones, fly along the sacred pathways of the winds and come as messengers leaving their feathers as gifts connecting us with the heavenly realms. Through this connection and my passion, I create handcrafted one-of-a-kind feather smudge, prayer, and blessing fans. As a shamanic practitioner, I use feather fans for smudging, ceremonies, talking sticks, and healing tools. Through my creations and the medicine of the Winged Ones, we enhance your journey, and my prayer is that you enjoy using this labor of love as much as I enjoyed creating it. My...

I have been around minerals, gemstones, jewelry and antiques for the last 35 years. Using old pieces, deconstructing them and creating something new has always been a passion of mine. I use antique and vintage buttons, along with recycled crystals, chain and beads from yard sale & flea market finds to create my pendulums and sun-catchers. There is something deeply satisfying to me in bringing new life from out of the old.  Whether it’s pendulums, treasure necklaces, custom jewelry or zipper brooches, I can get lost in the joy of finding a new use, new look, new idea from the old. Paige Ozma Ashmore

Paige Ozma Ashmore

For my motivation for painting and making art, I draw inspiration from the magic of the world; those in between time and places where enchantment slips through the cracks of reality.  You can find new ideas when you deeply watch the sacredness of the world as it unfolds in nature. Like deep listening, deep watching is also a wonderful quality to cultivate. I love detail and color and appreciate the works of Russian lacquer artists and Art Nouveau architecture and paintings.  My goal as an artist is to help the viewer connect with their own inner magic and enchantment. Meggie Theisen

My passion for creating and sharing natural products was inspired by my many years of sensitivity to toxic chemicals and other substances inherent in many of our cosmetics, our food and the environment. In my journey to wellness–and as a result of my confirmed “plantaholic tendencies”–I discovered the natural world of common and exotic oils, gemstones, healing plants and the therapeutic benefits of orgone and shungite energy. Today, I’m enjoying finding expression in creating home and personal care products that are chemical-free, unrefined and enhance the body mind state. It’s my sincere wish that you enjoy using these products as much as I have in creating and acquiring them. My...

Vikki Reed

Vikki Reed

How fortunate Vikki was that her mom gave her free access to art supplies, even as young as three.  When life felt chaotic and out of control, she would scribble designs that she later came to learn had a name…mandalas. The magical world that opens when creation begins was almost irresistible to Vikki as a young person.  Entering adulthood, outer world wisdom seemed to dictate that she should leave that behind. Vikki felt a new sense of freedom and relief when she quit her job in 1989 to pursue art full time.  Initially she created in watercolor, desert landscapes and botanicals, then returning to the mandalas she created as a child, and now, contemporary mixed media pieces. Along the way, her continued interest in alternative healing led to many modalities, among them, Biofield Tuning and Emotion Code, in which she achieved certification in 2018 and 2019, respectively.  Although this might seem like an aside to the art, Vikki has come to realize that both are forms of frequency medicine. Vikki’s path did not always read like a fairytale, or maybe it did, with allies and ogres, the Heroine’s Journey…but the current chapter is an addictive read, with tales of delicious creativity, lots of artwork she is proud of having created, and the certainty that her best work is yet to come. My...
